Áridos de Melo, installs a photovoltaic plant at its facilities in Vicálvaro, which will allow energy savings during the first year of 17.722 MW, and a total saving of approximately 540,657.66 ¤ during the 30 years of life of the installation.

Áridos de Melo has a 113.36 kWp photovoltaic power plant. The solar power plant is made up of 208 solar panels of (545W) each. The solar inverters for connection to the grid will have a nominal power of (100.00kW). Two inverters will be installed and the installation will have a nominal power of 100kW and a maximum nominal power of 110kW. 

The installation will meet all the quality standards required for this type of installation, in terms of protections and in terms of electromagnetic compatibility, CE marking, IEC regulations and European directives. 

With the installation of this plant, we are responding to the objective of reducing electricity consumption by solar energy, thus reducing carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere.
